Apple iMacs iMac G4 1 GHz come with 256 MB preinstalled in the computer. The system has two memory expansion slots. The system's main memory can be expanded up to 2 GB [Two Giga-byte] maximum.
The iMac G4 1 GHz [Flat Panel] ships with 256 MB preinstalled in the factory-only memory slot, the user accessible memory slot is provided for the user to install additional RAM by removing the circular base plate attached to the base or the bottom of the iMac [Flat panel].
The memory boards for the factory-only memory slot and the user accessible memory slot are different in form factor. |
