After removing the heat shield or the top cover; insert a flat head screw driver or a similar device between the space of the processor board and the metallic fence; gently apply the force in the direction shown.
The board should pop out of the two bottom connectors shown in the diagram.
Remove the board from the assembly and install the memory module in the bottom slot.


installing the processor card back in the system
After installing the RAM in the bottom memory slot, installing the processor card back into the computer requires aligning the protrusion in the processor slot with the notches in the metallic fence or heat shield, the mating connectors must be aligned and seated properly, with little force the daughter board will slide in and two connector will mate with each other.

Insert the processor board back in the metallic housing by matching the notches with the processor board protrusion guides; align and rest the mating connector of the processor board with the [receptacle] connector of the logic board.
Gently apply the force perpendicular to the plane of the processor board so that the two connector get in contact with each other. The processor board should be parallel with the plane of the logic board.
