Integrate Ultra 2 SCSI LVD 68-Pin drives into 50-Pin applications
adapter illustrations

New Ultra 2 SCSI drives do not have active SCSI termination, therefore, an inline terminator is required to terminate the SCSI bus. Trans Intl's new 68 Pin to 50 Pin adapter provides a cost effective solution for integrating 68 Pin Ultra 2 SCSI LVD drives into 50 Pin applications. State of the art Ultra 2 SCSI termination technology incorporated into the latest 68 Pin connector provides safety in usage.

Other important features include termination of lower 9 lines for reduced noise and stable data I/O and a termination Disable/Enable option. Ultra SCSI on board termination eliminates the need and the cost of an additional inline terminator.

The 68-Pin connector used to mate with the drive is surface mounted on the adapter, therefore no pin comes out on the front side of the adapter, which eliminates the need for shielding and provides extra protection against damage.

This adapter is backward compatible and can be used with any SCSI drive with a 68-Pin SCSI Wide connector.
