Mac Pro 2013 utilizes ECC non-Registered for 4GB and 8GB and ECC Registered for 16GB and 32GB per slot options. 4GB and 8GB ECC non-Registered modules cannot be mixed with 16GB and 32GB ECC-Registered modules and need to be removed in order to use higher density memory upgrades.
